Khandera films is a london based production label started by filmmaker Ali Rafi.

After graduating as an engineer Ali decided he was going to follow that which was closer to his heart and pursue a career making movies. Following in the footsteps of maverick filmmaker Robert Rodriguez who a few years earlier hit the scene with his 'el-mariachi' movie, Ali was inspired and began to write, direct, act, shoot and edit his own short films using small cast and crews whilst also attending film school for a short time in order to get technical.

Having received attention for some of these films Ali was commissioned to direct several low budget documentaries/promos by various clients when Khandera Films was started.

Khandera Films has worked with brands such as Livity, NHS, Future Publishing (T3 Magazine, Techradar, Gizmodo), Prufrock, HotforWords (YouTube Channel), GetBike, National Citizenship Service and spans genres from corporate promos, music videos, events, shorts and more recently Ali has been working as a senior YouTube mentor at Live Magazine, a quarterly magazine, website and youtube channel that is created by emerging creative talent from across the UK, with 50, 000 copies distributed nationally.
